This depends on 3 main criteria. Is the building live with foot traffic or is the premises empty? How many custom materials are included in the specification? What is the size of the project?

Pending the answer to these questions, we can provide you with a timeframe for completion.

Absolutely. Many of our projects are architecturally designed by external designers as passed onto us. Provided the drawings are accurate and has sufficient detail, we can provide an estimate or a fixed quote on the project.

Modular additions are built off site and then craned into place. Our roof plumber and carpenter then secure the second storey structure, which takes 4 – 8 hours. You benefit from minimal disruption as the next set of work is simply add a staircase and fitting off the services to the addition.

A framed addition is simply framing up the building addition on site and constructing it in situ. When access and power lines are a hindrance, it can be more beneficial to construct a framed addition as appose to craning in a modular.

Through “the Maker Kitchen Designs”, I was fortunate enough to obtain the services of Charl of Perth Renovation Group.

I thought I could manage the contractors myself, but after being lucky enough to have had Charl supervise all these contractors, I realised it would have been truly a disaster!

Perth Renovation Group was superb in every way.

Rosemary in Claremont

I can’t thank you and your “good boys” enough for what you have done for my home and ultimately me. I’m still pinching myself. I would like to think that I have gained some new friends, if not a couple of sons.

If anyone asks me “who did my renovations” there will be no hesitation in passing on PRG’s name and contact details.
Don’t forget, if you or your boys are passing and I’m home, call in for a cuppa – I’d be pleased to see how you all are.

Cheers

June in High Wycombe

The renovations carried out at our property was completed quickly and efficiently.

The tradesmen were clean, courteous and highly skilled. The work was also of a very high standard.

I recommend PRG to anyone who needs renovations to be carried out at their property.

Thanks

Derrick in Swanbourne

Absolutely no hesitation in recommending PRG for any project.

Having completed our kitchen, they are already engaged for the bathrooms and laundry renovations.

If high quality work and attention to detail are priority for a renovation project, then PRG are the ones to go to!

The disruption caused by a major renovation was eased by never having to be concerned about any aspect of the organisation of the project or the quality of work.

Working with Charl and the team at the Perth Renovation Group was a joy. They were highly professional and approached our job with the perfect mix of imagination and practicality.

The lines of communication were always open and PRG took the time to explain all the aspects of our job clearly and comprehensively – they even called me, just to check in!

Thank you, we love our new house!

Wow, what a fantastic transformation, it is amazing to see what that main living are went from, to what it is now.

Everyone who has seen it, including friends and family, have been amazed at what has been achieved. IT puts a smile on my face when I see then walk in with their jaws open in awe. It is such a modern and funky new space and is fantastic and designed for entertaining. It makes a huge difference to put on a dinner party or social event in such an environment. It is now a place that fosters and enhances communication, comfort and a wholly energised social experience. It is everything that I was seeking to have.

Thank you so much to you and all involved with the Perth Renovation Group with taking on my project. The whole team made the experience an exciting and joyful time. I think that your “can do: attitude impressed me the most. No job couldn’t be done; there was always a way. It is brilliant having that commitment and joint acknowledgement in the sharing of ideas and design. Your knowledge, skill and relaxed nature always put me at ease during times where issues popped up during the construction; you made everything easier.

I would thoroughly recommend PRG to anyone looking for a renovation and will definitely be using you again in the future. It is truly satisfying to find a company that delivers and remains excited and committed during the process. I feel that you treat every renovation that you undertake as if it is your own place, you just truly love and believe in what you do. You have certainly left your mark and I am very grateful for that.

Charl and his team were extremely accommodating and were able to adapt and resolve any unforeseen issues that inevitably arose when renovating older homes. They came up with innovative solutions without missing a beat and their team showed their experience in their respective fields.

Mike, the carpenter, in particular was a exceptional in resolving some of the more prevalent hurdles in this build as it was a timber frames construction and his workmanship was excellent. Carmen, the kitchen designer came up with a design that was both aesthetically pleasing and functional and fit the design brief to a tee.

Ultimately, Charl and his team went above and beyond what was required of them to product the final result.

We started out wanting a new floor covering in our family living area and kitchen.

It soon became obvious that we needed a new kitchen as well. We found the kitchen company, but didn’t realise initially that we would need to organise and coordinate have someone to remove the existing kitchen and a plumber, an electrician, a painter, a tiler, a carpenter, and a floor layer and others. It was all a bit daunting until out kitchen company gave us the information about the Perth Renovation Group.

We were so delighted with the way the project was planned and executed and now in our completed renovation we are enjoying the new space so much.

The opportunity to work with Charl and all the people who cane into our home was refreshing and inspiring. We are very happy people. Thank you

PRG provided ‘St Georges Close’ council with very helpful information. They displayed PRG provided ‘St Georges Close’ council with very helpful information. They displayed enormous patience adjusting quotes to suit the work schedules of a complex with multiple issues.

They attended an information morning to field technical questions for the council of owners to help promote the required works. P.R.G proved to be flexible with the working schedule to help fit in with the raising of funds + budget limitations.

The work carried out has been of a high standard with attention to detail and professionalism. It has been a pleasure working with P.R.G

Thank you!! Looking forward to ‘Stage 2’

Thank you so much for the entire process of our bathroom revolution, not renovation! From our initial speculative email after getting their name from Reece, we could not have had a better experience. The initial consultation in our home left us feeling we were dealing with someone as passionate about the details as we are.

The quotations, sketches, our change requests and redesign, our constant questions and emails were all dealt with quickly, appropriately and with at times a mirror for our own sense of humour. Materials selections and suggestions, design details both minor tweaks and major opposite ideas have all turned out to be far more cohesive than our original vision. We are so pleased we let PRG and their imagination free to explore. From demolition, construction commencement through to completion we have seen an amazing transformation of our home. 2 bathrooms, a powder room and a laundry completely renovated has brought these elements to the same standard or beyond of the rest of the property.

During the renovation we received weekly status updates including photographs while we were out the country on holiday. That’s the trust you feel when dealing with the Perth Renovation Group.

Design details that were completed to 99.9% were immediately redone from scratch as they only deliver exactly what you expect or more. We cannot say thank you enough, no other business in our 5 years in Australia has delivered like Perth Renovation Group.

I was very pleased with your assistance in the creation of my new kitchen.

I particularly appreciated your recommendations about tradespeople, coordinating quotes and the coordination of all the tradespeople with designer and cabinet maker ‘The Maker’, for the installation of the kitchen.

Your assistance and patience with my decision about the splashback “was above and beyond the call of duty”. Similarly your management of the entire process while I was away. I am very pleased with the kitchen, as are my friends and family.

Thank you.

Having experienced renovations at a previous residence, we have always been reluctant to undertake the process again. Our last project was marred by inconsiderate tradesman – both to us as clients and the tradesman who had to follow them. The swearing, loud music and dogs on site, I thought, were mandatory!

This renovation has restored our faith in the whole building process. All tradesman were punctual, considerate, made as little mess and noise as possible. They even cleaned the site at the end of each day, both for us as clients and the tradesman following them.

The standard of all the work has been excellent. We have no hesitation in recommending “Perth Renovation Group” to friends.

Yes we do. We have a number of suppliers that can that supply furniture at competitive prices. They can also custom design furniture to suit – boardroom tables are quite common.

This all depends on the size of the job and availability of materials. Custom materials like stone benchtops, vinyl cabinets and custom glass will take longer. For projects where standard materials are specified, the necessary renovations should not take more than 5 weeks for a standard bathroom.

Generally speaking – yes. The water pipes are usually not a problem as we can box them in or run them in wall cavities. The drains and toilet however can be a bit more tricky as the floor end up being very affected by moving the pipework. This is usually a more constly item.

We have 3 different bathroom ranges to cater for various tastes and budgets – we call them our “good”, “better” and “best” range. Our tile palettes have also been selected by our interior design team to reflect the most modern and individual of tastes. Fully renovated bathrooms (inc materials), start at $20,000.

Our kitchens start at $30,000. We find that most kitchens fall within the $35,000 – $60,000 range, which takes into account affected floor coverings, ceilings and structural changes. The kitchens that are more expensive are usually very bespoke and are most suited the homes with large cabinet spaces.

It takes 4 – 6 weeks. It depends on the number of custom materials selected for the project. It also depends on the intricacy of the design and whether we are sourcing the cabinets from another state.

Absolutely – every project is designed from the ground up. We start with a concept design, moving through to detailed design and then provide a full delivery service. We carry out all works – from taking out walls to building new bulkheads and wiring new lighting.

Our project scopes are very comprehensive. We invest a lot time to ensure that every “t” is crossed and every “I” is dotted. If a renovation item cannot be quantified (common with old houses), we would flag it in the project scope. That way you receive a fixed price and that price is honoured. We find that 9 out of 10 variations on our projects are changes from the client, usually associated with additional work around the house.

Most renovation works are second fixing items. The Building Regulations Act draws the conclusion that unless the improvement works are of a structural nature, there is no need for a building permit. Therefore, if you are planning on taking out an internal wall (the most common structural work), then we will have to prepare a building permit application by getting your existing house plans marked up by a structural engineer and submitting them to council for approval.

There is no need to be at home to open up for trades. Most clients let us have the house keys so that we can manage the work accordingly. Some clients decide to move out temporarily, especially with the full home renovations if the bathrooms are impacted. Usually with a single area project like a kitchen, clients tend to stay at home, taking advantage the odd dinner out and the backyard bbq.
