The modern kitchen is very sleek and up to date. They are often spacious due to the clever design of finger pull handles, push catch doors and various space-saving appliances such as integrated dish-drawers.

The cabinets will have quality fold-out internals and pull out drawers to accommodate all kinds of pots, pans and utensils.

This kitchen is strategically designed to be efficient, with strong emphasis on lighting. Splashbacks are often lit up, with lighting over the island bench, a sensor light in the pantry, and additional lights placed around benches at seating heights.

Traditional kitchens have an opulent look as the colours and cabinets are rich and luxurious. Because it is a style rather than a trend, it won’t go out of fashion as is usually best suited to character homes.

You can expect to see classical cabinets with posts framing the doors, fluted post with corbels on the corners, and light-coloured ceramic tiles as splashbacks.

The doors are usually hand painted or vinyl wrapped. The bench tops can be made of granite, marble or engineered stone.

A contemporary kitchen is the type of kitchen that you would see in most home projects. It is the most common Australian kitchen and seems to suit most people’s tastes.

It comes in a large selection of laminate colours and handles. Soft closing doors and functional internal fittings are a standard choice. Engineered stone benchtops are also most common, with large format rectified tiles or coloured glass being the splashback of choice.

Good lighting options include flush mounted lights that are built into the overhead cabinets, with downlights throughout the kitchen.

Bathroom revolution, not renovation!

Thank you so much for the entire process of our bathroom revolution, not renovation! From our initial speculative email after getting their name from Reece, we could not have had a better experience. The initial consultation in our home left us feeling we were dealing with someone as passionate about the details as we are.

The quotations, sketches, our change requests and redesign, our constant questions and emails were all dealt with quickly, appropriately and with at times a mirror for our own sense of humour. Materials selections and suggestions, design details both minor tweaks and major opposite ideas have all turned out to be far more cohesive than our original vision. We are so pleased we let PRG and their imagination free to explore. From demolition, construction commencement through to completion we have seen an amazing transformation of our home. 2 bathrooms, a powder room and a laundry completely renovated has brought these elements to the same standard or beyond of the rest of the property.

During the renovation we received weekly status updates including photographs while we were out the country on holiday. That’s the trust you feel when dealing with the Perth Renovation Group.

Design details that were completed to 99.9% were immediately redone from scratch as they only deliver exactly what you expect or more. We cannot say thank you enough, no other business in our 5 years in Australia has delivered like Perth Renovation Group.

How long will it take to renovate my bathroom?

Depending on the size of the job and availability of materials, our bathroom renovators will fully inform you of the expected timeframe.

Custom materials like stone benchtops, vinyl cabinets and custom glass will take longer. For projects where standard materials are specified, the necessary renovations should not take more than 5 weeks for a standard bathroom.

Can I reconfigure my bathroom by moving taps, drains and toilet to different locations?

Generally speaking – yes. The water pipes are usually not a problem as we can box them in or run them in wall cavities. The drains and toilet however can be a bit more tricky as the floor end up being very affected by moving the pipework. This is usually a more constly item.
